Payment methods

Checkout is a secure payment method for you. We have a license to operate issued by the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority. We are a payment The service is provided by Checkout Finland Oy (y-tunnus 2196606-6) and the Checkout Finland Oy is part of the OP Financial Group.

The Checkout payment service will forward your payment to the merchant. If your bank statement or card statement shows Checkout Finland Oy, we have forwarded your payment.

Bank Transfer

You can make a payment with every Finnish bank. You can pay with the buttons of Aktia, Danske Bank, Handelsbanken, Nordea, Oma Säästöpankki, Osuuspankki, POP, Säästöpankki, S-Bank and Ålandsbanken. Checkout Finland Oy will appear as the payee on your bank statement and we will forward your payment to the online merchant. The online shop will direct you to your bank in order to make a secure payment.

Card Payment

You can pay online with Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Debit MasterCard, and American Express. The e-commerce services include the international Verified by Visa, MasterCard SecureCode and American Express SafeKey authentification services. Checkout appears on the card as the payee and forwards the payment to the merchant. Card payments are made using a secured payment form and the payment card details are not stored in the e-commerce systems.

Mobile Payment

Mobile payment methods Pivo, MobilePay, Masterpass and Siirto are application-based services that allow you to pay for online purchases by wire transfer from your account or payment card by approving the payment in that application. In addition, Pivo also works with Siirto, allowing you to approve through any service supported by Siirto.

GSM Payment

The service is based on the use of the service number 060605. The payment is made by calling the service number and following the instructions.

They price is of the service is per unit and includes the price of the product and the billing charge associated with the service. In addition to the price of the service, the customer pays the normal mobile phone fee according to the pricing of their mobile operator. GSM payment purchases are charged on the user’s mobile phone bill.

Service usage restrictions / mobile subscription:

- Single purchase up to 52,32 euros (VAT included)

- Purchases up to 100 euros per month (VAT included)

- Up to two purchases per day

- Not available with prepaid subscriptions

Invoicing and installment payment services

Invoicing and installment payment services through Checkout are provided by OP, Collector, Jousto and Mash (formerly Euroloan). Collector also offers invoicing and installment payment options to corporate customers.
